My name is Megan Megremis and I am a Product Designer/Developer for Lids Sports Group! I attended Ball State University, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with degrees in Telecommunications and Journalism Graphics in 2020. I absolutely love the world of design, and I am so blessed to be able to develop my skills with a career in the industry.
Right now, I am working under the Lids Private Label team, where my primary goal is to follow product I designed or developed from concept, all the way through to production. My first collection was with Playboy in Q4 of 2022, and we have been able to work with amazing brands such as Marvel, Stetson, Negro League Baseball, DC Comics, and Warner Brothers (just to name a few). It definitely takes a village, but the payoff is stellar!
Through these opportunities, I’ve been able to refine my skills as a designer while also taking on different challenges that may arise when it comes to designing/developing product. I now have experience working and interacting with factories oversees, licensing between various brands, and even product and legal approvals. I greatly benefited from the small-company feel with Lids as I got to have my hands in many different areas of development and design.
When I’m not working or designing, you can find me on the couch with my dog watching Netflix or YouTube. The only thing that I love more than design are dogs, and I am on a mission to pet them all! I also enjoy traveling, going out with friends, spending time with family, and I recently learned how to crochet – and I love it.
